Shared bottle, as Thisted 2 Triple Pilsner. Amber colour, moderate white head. Aroma of malts, hints of ripe berries. Dry flavour, decent hops / bitterness.

330 ml bottle. Fine, deep golden body with a nice white head. Quite nice aroma as well with fruit, some caramel and grass. Flavor is more straight forward, malt, caramel and hint of brown sugar and fruit. Looks nice, smells good and taste a bit boring and average.

Pours clear golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain, bread, floral hops and elderflower. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

0,5 l. bottle from the supermarket. Labeled as "Thy Bryghus Triple - 2". Strange colour for a pilsener - copper/bronze. Dominated by malts and yeast, this is not an unusual pilsener, but the taste seems more complex, it has more layers. Palate and finish also says pilsener. Extra credits to Thy Brewhouse for challengeing us. Good price -taste ratio.

Bottled. Pale amber colour with a small off-white head. Some particles floating around. Aroma is leathery, quite grassy, berryish and also rather malty. Flavour is leathery, berryish, caramel malty as well as quite herbal. Rather mouthdrying palate. Interesting.

Draught as Grauballe Triple at Plan B, Copenhagen. Light amber body colour with a tiny haze. White foamy head leaving firm lacing on the glass. Floral-fruity aroma with pale malts beneath. Fresh, dry fruity taste with hints of caramel malts. Mild bitter endnotes. Nice in the mouth (15.09.2008).

(Draught@Plan B as "Grauballe Triple"). Clear amber color, small beige head. Fruity (apricot-mango), yeasty nose. Dry, papery malty, fresh hoppy and a bit alcoholic. Drym leathery aftertaste. Much closer to Belgian trippel than Danish pilsner :)

Draught, drank as "Grauballe Tripel" Huge, off-white head over orange-amber beer; well carbonated. Very fruity, strawberry, citrus, rosehips, and warm malts. Caramel, Saison-like farmyard odours and spices; not sweet, dry with some hops. Quite dry MF, long dry-malty aftertaste, with spiciness abundant (nutmeg, orangepeel). There’s some commercial Saisons that taste pretty similar. I thought "Tripel" already weird, but Pilsener, for Pete’s sake????
