--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear mahogany colour, small head.Vinous tart nose with oaky dark berries. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Tart oaky red wine on dark bread. Peppery mid bitter finish. Intense and woody.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, nutty, some dried fruity tones. Flavour is fruity, dried fruits, plum and some nutty tones with earth to it.

14/1/2023. Bottle at the Haderslebener tasting. Pours hazy pale amber brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is woody, fruity, earthy, red wine, hint of rhubarb. Moderate sweetness, medium sourness. Medium body, average carbonation. Enjoyable.

ABV: 9.1%. Cloudy - hazy medium to red amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, berries, barrel, sour - tart berries - vinous. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average duration, barrel, caramel, sour - tart berries - vinous. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20230114]

Bottle @ Haderslebener beer tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, lactose acid, citrus, wood, red wine, malt and hops. Nice sour finish.
