Bottle from Tesco, drunk at home. Orange-gold, hazy with plentiful carbonation. Aroma of apricot, lemon rind, Pixy Stix, a bit of toasty backbone. Taste is sweeter that expected, with a bit of fruity sour/bitter in the finish. Lemony bittersweet aftertaste. Nothing too special, but quite a good, dependable drink.

50 cl. bottle. Clear, golden colour with an amber tint. Big, creamy white head. Fruity aroma with grasses, citrus, caramel malts, floral and herbal hops. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with grass, citrus and biscuits. Some herbal notes. Nice, classic styled English ESB/IPA - however, more bitter than usual.

Pours clear golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, floral, grassy and hint of citrus. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long floral and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

500ml bottle, beer gift from Finn, thanks. Finger-thick, tight, white head with moderate lacing. Clear golden body. Smell of herbal hops and mid-sweet pale malts. Mixed taste of caramel, herbal hops and resinous bitterness to the finish. Medium bodied. Soft on the swallow. A classic British strong bitter ale, half way pleasing (Tromsø 22.08.2014)

tap@Fermentoren, Aarhus - slightly fuzzy golden pour with small white head. Aroma and taste is sweet fruity and malty, a nice citric lemon flavour, grassy, refreshing brew. Decent enough. ---Sent via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A little more bitter and hoppy than the other ESBs by Ridgeway but I could have easily been fooled into thinking this is an EPA or ESB. Light citrus, pours dark but clear amber. Light bitter finish with some cloying. Cask at Churchkey.

Looks nicely golden, small head. Simple malt aroma. Taste has some strong bread at first, filling the entire mouth with nice malt flavours. Some fragrant hops follow and the sensation ends in a short and soft malt. This one is a good example of a British IPA, lenient hops, bread malt base, some fruits. This drink is session able, suitable for easy drinking. Not as hoppy as I like the best - but definitely not bad either.
