This Red stands out in this beer style category. The malt body is as impressive as a bock, albeit in a uniquely Irish way. With an incredibly smooth malt body complimented by caramel tones and perfectly balanced in bitterness, this Irish Red is much more complex than it’s mainstream rivals.

Bottle at Paddy Murphy, Rotterdam: Clear amber coloured brew with an medium dry bitter taste. Hints of slightly roasted malts, caramel and something like nut.

Can from Kaufland Poljička, Split, shared with heavy. Hazy amber-brown body, off-white head. Berries and caramel in the creamy, smooth aroma - not bad! The taste, however, is where it falls flat (literally) - smooth but tart, slightly floral, light dried fruit, rye, light bitterness, weird alcohol-like notes. Dunno, didn't sit well with me in the end.

Nagy, tartós, bézs színű tömör hab, vöröses árnyalatú barna hab. Fűszeres, komlós illat, halvány karamell érzettel. Lágy, visszafogott ízvilágú, enyhén karamelles, fűszeres. Könnyű, nem szénsavas, alig keserű. Kellemes, jól iható ivósör.

440ml can at home. Reddish brown with a creamy of white head. Aroma is toffee and bitter hop, flavour is pretty much the same. Not complex, but very drinkable

Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. MOderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Nitro can. Clear red brown. Aroma is medium malt with some oxidized rust and a hint of berries. Pretty mild. Taste is huge flat malt with berry peels. Quite bland and a bit rusty. Meh.
