Mikkeller christmas calendar #1 classical strong malty and strong bitter hoppy IIPA aroma. flowery notes. I miss some more power/strength/intenseness to the aroma, which is otherwise quite good. Flavor is sweet malty, slightly sweet spicy, bitterness from hops, somewhat anonymous bitterness, also malts and alc and hops work together to make a sweet almost barleywine like base. The beer is fruity and refreshing enough to not end up as bittersweet, which is a big plus.
