Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Slightly hazy gold colour, white foamy head leaving lacing and aroma of floral, wheat, fruity. Taste is wheaty, grain, pale malt, fruity, gluey, floral, citric. Light bodied, soft carbonation, drying finish. Quite OK

2/4/2021. Bottle from LowCostBeer.com. There seem to be 2 entries for this Bira 91 White, one here under B9 and the other under Cerena. but everything on the label for this bottle matches this one (brewery, abv, photo) so entered under B9 (but flagged to an admin as possible dupe). This beer poured hazy pale gold with with minimal head. Aroma is sweet, yeasty, herbal, citrus, coriander, orange and touch of banana. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Not unpleasant.

Friday 12th Feb 2021. Out Of Date Beer tasting with my son and good lady. Eight beers from 'Lowcostbeer' (they sell old beer at knock down prices). The first beer of the session was a 330ml bottle of this; BB 24th Jan 2021, so only just past it's best. Hazy dull golden body, full white head. Light citrus esters and wheat in the nose, taste similar in nature. No spicy notes (thought there might be some coriander or clove like hints), but a very pleasant start to the tasting.

330ml bottle. Pours hazy gold with thin head. Aroma of soapy bubblegum perfume, banana sweets, coriander, lemon. Taste again is a bit too perfumed and soapy for me with lemon and coriander but there are some lovely spices underneath. I do detect aniseed so there may be star anise. It grew on me.

Pours amber with a fluffy white head. Aroma of pear, coriander, berries. Taste has has sweet malt with a lemon floral element on the tongue. Palate has coriander one the nose, smattering of citrus, and residual of malt. Unique.

Pretty decent for style. Coriander and lemon. Light florals. Nice beer to have overlooking the lake in Udaipur. Pours hazy golden with ok head. Light citrus finish. Low score a little unjustified. Bottle.
