(33 cl bottle purchased in Helsingör, Denmark) Clear dark red color, big brown head. Tar and smoked sausage scent. Very nice smoked smell indeed. Thin sweet a bit smoked and metallic taste. Some tar aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Bottled (Thanks JensenTaster!). Black/very dark red colour, small brown head. Aroma is strong smoke, some salted licorace and earthy notes. Flavour is wet smoked wood, with some hints of licorace. Quite watery palate, but still the smokishness makes it quite tasty.

Small yellowish brown head quickly shrinks into thin ring. Deep dark red barely translucent body. Light sweetish earthy licorice aroma with roasty smoky notes. Thinnish burnt earthy smoky licorice taste with dryish burnt aftertaste. Strange, almost meaty notes in the background. Something faintly oily in the mouthfeel. Very unusual, and not bad, but not too great, either. May have been stored too long. (0.33l bottle.)

Bottle. Medium to dark red / brown color iwth a small fizzy fair lacing light brown head. Aroma is moderate malty and yeasty, smoke. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter, wirh a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is sflat.

On tap at Fynske Øldage, Odense, Denmark. Deep black with small tan head. Aroma is roasted, smoked malt and tar. Flavor is mostly the same, with smoked elements and something that reminds me of old ropes. Thin, but not as thin as you might think a beer at only 2.4% might be. Rating: 5-4-5-3-10-2.7. 051028
Bottle. A reddish dark brown beer with a small, dense, beige head. Smoke, ham, tar, roasted malts, dried fruits and a touch of something candy like. Thin, of course, on the palate, a bit low on carbonation too. Smoke, ham, roasted malts and some dried fruit in the flavor, some sweetness towards the end, but mostly quite dry. Certainly a fine one, drinkable and all that, but it really needs some more body to be really fine. 111112
