Smell of whisky, roasted malt. Dark brown colour, tiny beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, tar, whisky, oak, rye bread, faint plum. Medium carbon. Bitter, sweet.

Black with a thin deep beige head. Very thick, velvety body. Big molasses, whiskey, oak, brown sugar bits. Long, slightly tangy finish. Hefty and rather sweet without being cloying. Solid.

10/05/2025 Sample at Palace Hall, Malmö May tasting - dark sweet fisted malty with lots of opulent cocoa and sown molasses, brown sugar sprinkle, full bodied, dark roasted malty finish.

Can shared at craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks to Colin. A clear mahogany brown coloured pour with a lasting halo of tan head. Aroma is. Medium sweet, brown sugars, broen sugars, custard. Apple,salt phenolic. Brown sugars.

Pours black with a small head. Aroma is licorice, oak casks, char coal, soy sauce and a little bit of whisky. Flavour is sweet licorice, oak cask and warming whisky. Despite the strenght it manages to stay quite balanced.

Sweet, some dark mats, a little licorice, roast, ash and earth. Nice overall.

Bottleshare at CBJ, thanks to Cloin for the can. Near clear dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate
, mildly sweet. Good ripe fruits, rich. Smooth finish. Mildly bitter linger. Tidy.
