Blend of cider & wine from red Cannonau di Sardegna grapes (the unique regional variant name for the Grenache grape variety) from Sardinia.
The organic grapes used for Boerenerf's blends are grown by Cantina Pusole.
The grapes go through a ten-day maceration, and the Pajotse cider from Peter's Orchards brings the necessary aroma and acidity.
This cider-wine hybrid is best enjoyed in the summertime. The distinct wine character blends well with the acidity of the cider, created an interesting crisp/bitter mouthfeel.
Fermented, aged & bottled on the farm.

Bottle, directly from brewery. Color: Hazy pinkish red, thin light pink head. Aroma: Leathery funk, fruity grape, oak. Taste: Mix of fruity sweetish (over)ripe apple and grape, a lot of oak wood and tannins. Wrye grapeskin. Moderate to over moderate sweet. Light fruity bitterness. Very dry finish. Medium body, below average carbonation. Very good.
