Clear mahagoni. Aroma is copper moss chestnut light melasses. Taste is light sweet melasses with average metallic bitterness. Also quite sour carbonation. Not so balanced but still alright.

Nachdem ich einige Dunkelweizen der Brauerei genossen hatte, gelüstete es mir auch noch das klassische Dunkle zu probieren und auch das kann sich durchaus sehen lassen. Es ist vor allen nicht zu süß und nicht klebrig, sondern hat schöne malzige Aromen, die schön mit dem herben Hopfen spielen. Vielleicht nicht allzu kreativ, aber sehr solide und angenehm zu trinken.

Bottle picked up in an Edeka, Passau after a long walk around the town including the lovely Christmas market with Loz and Isobel Saturday 26th November 2022. I had this back at Isobel's hotel room. Pours dark brown with a little haze, there is a little fruity tang to this and a little caramel. Nice dunkel, good moutheel, enjoying this beer.

Tief dunkles Rot mit bräunlichen Tönen. Geruch malzig süß. Malz ist auch ganz klar beim Geschmack bestimmend. Spuren von Traubensaft. Leicht röstige Nuancen, die im Mittel- und Schlussteil etwas trocken und bitter werden. Aber nicht unangenehm - im Gegenteil es macht das Bier nur interessanter. Das Bier ist ein guter Kompromiss aus Süffigkeit und Schwere - wobei die Süffigkeit letztendlich die Oberhand gewinnt (war bei „nur“ 4,7 % Alk. auch zu erwarten). Ein wirklich brauchbares Dunkles.

Sugary malty aroma. Sweet flavor with malt, some licorice and cinnamon. Just below medium bodied.

Klares orange braunes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nussig malzig, leicht röstmalzig, Karamell. Geschmack mild röstmalzig, karamellig, nussig, mild würzig hopfig, okay!

Huge head with excellent duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, caramel, malt and hops

Dark red colour, disappearing head. Aroma has lots of rye bread and sweet malt. Flavour is sweet with rye bread, malt and hints of raisins. A bit thin, but good.
