Bottle, bedst før 14.06.23, found in my stash unexpectedly. Oops, my bad for letting it expire. And thanks HP! Slightly misty brownish-golden body, bit muddy, maybe some oxidation, but I see others describing it as such. Heavy, spicy ginger aroma, light caramelly malty undertone. The taste is still clean and oxidation-free, yay! Caramelly, sweetish almost candyish maltiness mixes with spicy ginger, sweetish, ending with a solid burn. Basically, it's a hopless beer with ginger that would be less interesting by miles if not for the pleasant, strong, yet fairly well balanced ginger notes. I have to go against the grain here! I mean... dunno, it might have leaned out here with time, as it's definitely not too sweet for my tastes. Maybe it actually does get better with age, hah!

4/XII/22 - 50cl bottle as a gift, shared @ Dennis’ place, BB: 14/VI/23 (2022-1714) Thanks to Arno for the bottle!

Little cloudy amber to light orange beer, practically no head. Aroma: quite some ginger all right, pisces, ripe banana, yeasty. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: sweet and sugary start, ripe banana, yeasty, spicy, lots of ginger, almost a ginger burn as a matter of fact. Aftertaste: sweet and spicy, yeast touch, lots of ginger still. Good ginger beer, I do like ginger of course, so it’s hard to do me wrong with a ginger beer, even if it’s too sugary like this one.
