Geruch unglaublich bierig, als würde man einen seit Jahrzehnten geführten Getränkemarkt oder einen alten Bierkeller betreten. Anfangs bitterer, eisenartiger Geschmack, der die an sich recht süffige und ausgewogene Grundnote des Biers stört. Wird nach 2 - 3 Schluck gut trinkbar. Säuerliche, malzige, (vergoren) fruchtige und angenehm bittere Geschmacksnoten herrschen vor. Relativ spritzig. Ordentliche Substanz, die strammen 5,5 % Alkohol schmeckt man. Nach dem recht kräftigen Antrunk flacht der Mittel- und Endteil etwas ab. Ohne die starke Eisennote hätte das Bier ansonsten durchaus Potenzial.

Bottle from Duisburg. Cloudy orange with a medium head. Aroma of wheat and banana clove. Flavour is is bread wheat, sweet malt, banana clove, caramel finish.

Bottle. Pours misty gold. Medium-sized white head. Nose: white bread, moderate banana, evident clove. Light body. Taste: bready, some banana, clove. Low bitterness. Well-drinkable.

On tap at Bahnhof. Hazy orange with very small white head. Aroma is clove, medium body, lower carbonation, and very little lacing. Taste is clove and some banana.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hopy and moderate yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Some yeasty notes. Oily palate.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, at a Danube boat in Linz, 20170530) The beer poured brownish orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had banana, sweetness and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, banana, grass, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, spicy and bitter. A not so good hefeweizen but there were some good scents and flavours.
