So richig vom PIls kann sich das Licher Export nicht abheben. Es wird etwas runder und voller und vor allem im Abgang weniger hopfig-bitter. Es lässt sich gemütlich trinken und ist mir geschmacklich sympatischer als das Pils, auch wenn es nichts spezielles ist. Man macht aber auch nichts falsch, wenn man sich ein paar Fläschen besorgt.

Licher Export, Flasche von REWE, Treysa. - Pils oder Export? - diese Frage wird heute immer seltener gestellt. Ausgerechnet Licher mit seinem eher untraditionellen, durch wenige Pseudo-Traditionsbierchen aufgehübschten Sortiment führt noch ein klassisches Export. - Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase mattes helles Malz, schwach karamellig, Sägemehl und muffige, fast faulige Herbe. - Antrunk eigenartig süßsauer mit dickem Malz und ranzigen Fehlaromen, die an fauliges Holz erinnern. Limonadig rezent, dennoch vollmundig. Im Abgang derb krautige Hopfenherbe. Ranziger Nachtrunk. - Aromatisch defizitäres, lieblos zusammengeschustertes Bier. Nur mit Mühe genießbar. (8.8.2020.)

4/8/2018. Bottle from Khan Kiosk, Frankfurt. Pours bright golden with an average sized lasting foamy white head. Aroma of malt, corn, hops, grass and fruit. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, oily and watery, average carbonation. Sweet finish. Fair, slightly better that the pils.

From bottle. Grain, hay. Typical Export-taste: sweetness and slightly bitter, but flat. Standard beer, made for a quick drink. Neutral.

Golden colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour are typical of a Pilsener. This one is fairly bitter.

Bottle. Golden color. Aroma: wet rags, fruit and malty. Taste: slight sweetness, malt, sad.

Pours gold into the bottle with a foamy and fleeting crown. Aroma is malty and rubbery with a light spice. Taste is lightly herbal bitter, with lots of pils malts, and little discernable hops. The finish is warming for a pils and here the bitterness steps up, but takes on a less fortunate grainy character. Palate is medium bodied and lightly oily. Decent but unmemorable.
