0.33 l bottle from 'Mr. Hop', best before September 2023. Hazy, amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, fairly smoky, slightly peaty aroma of caramel, bacon, light peat and a touch of lemon. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, rather smoky, slightly peaty taste of caramel, bacon sultanas, some wood and a touch of lemon, followed by a short, gently bitter, rather smoky, a bit peaty finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting beer, quite intense and very smoky, not as peaty as expected, rather like beechwood smoked malt.
