440ml can from S43. Clear orangey amber brown colour, bubbly beige foam dead and aroma of malt caramel, bready, citrus, raisins. Taste is sweet barley malt, caramel, toffee, dried fruity, bready, with orange marmalade citrus and earthy spicy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying nutty boozy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Clear amber pour and a fine tan head Good intensity in the aroma Quite balanced sweetness for a beer like this Also a fine carbonation level Dried fruits, toffee, bread, and herbal flavor Fine thick malt base and no sticky alcohol [Can a Kokkekollektivet in Halden, Norway]

Can. Clear deep amber brown beer, good pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Malts are pretty laid back for a barleywine, mild creamy sweetness and a mildly tangy umsweet caramel. Some spice in the mid. A pleasant generic fruitiness on the back end. Some ripe and bruised fruits underneath. Mild pine. Smooth finish. It's a pleasant affair thanks to the fruity aspects but for me, US style or no, not enough malt complexity.

Can from Hop Shop Aberdeen. Hazy amber body with a thick beige head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of honey, rust and corn flakes. Flavour of marmalade and strawberry syrup. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Sweet and rich. Very tasty.
