We have selected only three of our best apples during the 2023 vintage year. Sweet Coppin, Major and Yarlington Mill to make a fantastically tasting, but surprisingly strong (7.4%) cider.

11/6/2025. Bottle courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear golden with a short lasting frothy white head. Seemed a bit thin on the pour. Aroma is apple, touch funky/musty. Moderate sweetness, light tartness. Quite dry. Watery and fizzy. My least favourite of the 4 Ad Astraโs tried so far.

500ml bottle from Ad Astra. Pours clear gold, aroma of mildly sweet apple fruit. Taste is crisp with a moderate fruitiness, very mild tannin dust on the finish, doesn't really taste 7.4% more around 4.5% Id say.. distant caramelised fruit, fairly gentle flavour profile, not much depth

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 29/07/23. Clear light golden with a white cap that thins edgewards. Nose is funky apple, tannins, hedgerow, grains, damp straw, light acidic tickle. Taste comprises earthy apples, funk, tannins, apple skins, orchard wood, vinous strains. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad if a touch raw.

500ml bottle from Ad Astra. Clear golden colour, short-lived white foam head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of apple, fruity, caramel, hint of funk. Taste is tangy, apple, fruity, some core, with drying tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
