Has the aroma of a good geuze, but in diluted form. Hints of lemon, oak and hops. Hoppy citric flavor.Low on carbon. Not as powerful in flavor like many other Franconian kellerbiers, but makes up in finesse. Well balanced beer.

Flasche (50 cl) aus Keils Getränkemarkt, Bayreuth. - Goldgelb, klar.

Bottle: Slightly hazy, greenish-golden coloured, mid-sized, creamy white head; sweet-malty nose with a touch of cardboard; light sweet-bitter flavour, very light-bodied to watery; moderate grassy bitter, slightly sweetish, a bit watery finish. Could be an industrial brew from anywhere........

(bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a slowly lacing foamy white head. Slightly dusty and sweet strawy, malty aroma with faint notes of herbal hops. Indifferently sweet, slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, crispy mf. Mild, quite one-dimensional malty taste, a bit watery on the palate; dry, light-bitter finish with a metallic tinge. Bland brew, not really interesting.
