Pronounced floral nose with butterscotch overtones. Soft rounded and expansive on the palate, gently giving way to a drying, grippy tannic finish which lingers.

750ml bottle from Craft Bar, Pitmedden. It pours clear golden yellow with a small fizzy white cap. The aroma is musty, funky, barnyard, apple skin, wood, hay, red fruits and apple pie. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, woody, tannin, apple skin, crunchy, nip of acidity, splash of white wine, underlying barnyard funk, splash of appletiser and sherbet. Finish is firm dry and tannic. Medium body and fine, slightly prickly carbonation kicking about. Interesting combo. Probably need more juiciness or tang to balance out the tannin, but it's quaffable anyhow.

750ml bottle from Cork & Cask. Orange gold colour, foamy white head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of apple, funk, mucky, woody. Taste is sweetish, tangy, apple, fruity, funk, loamy, woody, herbal, with mucky hints and drying tannins. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying earthy tannic finish. Quite drinkable.
