Made from the soft yellow fruit of a single Bridstow Wasp tree growing in a small garden orchard, this cider possesses the most incredible peachy aroma which carries through into the taste. With the fruit having only fallen in September 2022 this is a fun, young, fruity offering which pairs well with blue cheeses, celeriac rémoulade and nutty desserts.
So named for their attractiveness to wasps, the Bridstow Wasp is a rediscovered old Herefordshire variety, once thought to be lost, hailing from the small village of Bridstow near Ross on Wye.

750ml bottle from Artistraw. Hazy orange colour, short-lived white foam head and aroma of juicy ripe apple, caramel, peachy, stone fruit, funk. Taste is sweet, tangy, apple, juicy, ripe fleshy, stone fruits, some funk with sharp acidity and drying tannins. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tart & tannic finish. Very drinkable.
