A single orchard blend of Yarlington Mill, Blenheim Orange, Tremlett's Bitter, Harry Masters Jersey and Browns, the orchard (Peppershells!) is a new one to the Wilding stable. The resulting cider is intensely rich and concentrated, with cooked fruit and spice aromas and a great tannic backbone. Great with cheeses, both creamy bold blue cheeses and mature hard cheeses, like a good mature Cheddar and it also works with meat especially if served with a fruity sauce or condiment.

750ml bottle from Fine Cider Co. Orange gold colour, no lasting head and aroma of mucky funk, fruity apple. Taste is sweet, fruity, cooked apple, syrupy, then funky, horseblanket, mucky, leather notes, and citric, slightly tart, with some drying tannins. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry funky light tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
