Process: A blend of 1, 2 and 3 year old golden ales brewed with malted barley and raw wheat. Spontaneously fermented and aged in neutral French oak barrels. Refermented on organic Driscoll Maravilla raspberries and organic Driscoll Victoria blackberries grown in Herefordshire.
Conditioning: Packaged with a small amount of priming sugar for natural carbonation in the bottle. We do not add yeast at this point, or at any point in the process. Bottles laid to rest on side and conditioned until release.
Ingredients: Malted barley, raw wheat, aged hops (whole leaf fuggle, saaz & strisselpalt), raspberry, blackberry, water.
Brew season: 2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022
Fruit Season: 2022

CBJ bottleshare. Thanks to Fergus for the bottle. Hazy watermelon colour beer, airy palate, semi dry, good fine carbonation. Slightly acetic tart fruits. A mild lemon acid and funk. Light semi dry finish. Reasonably approachable for a sour.

Bottle shared at craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks a plumy peach coloured pour with a fine pink head. Aroma is woody raspberry, woody plum, sweaty fruit. Flavour is composed of semi sweet tangy woody plummy, raspberry, pithy, vanilla, tart plum. Cherry,

Interesting. Quite a nice complicated fruit flavour. Not so much funk or that kind of thing that you might expect. Quite sweet. Not at all sour. Not much barrel there either.
