Rated at Hitas Beer Lounge - Platinum Edition. Malty, grainy and slightly rustic with hints of grass and fruits. Decent.

Bottle, thx Ivan for sharing! Who knows how this got to him, but the bottle was dead on arrival. Hazy, paaaale golden body, not that much head. Cardboad, sweet and fruity aroma. Sweetish, light taste, some cardboard again. Abysmal. Man... what the hell happened here - I was optimistic after Cunningham's post, but what I've had showed no potential. Maybe a dud bottle? Maybe old? I mean, I'll rerate it given the chance, but with the idiotic price they're selling it for, I probably won't. The cheapness of the fancy looking packaging is ridiculous as well. For that price, I'd expect something more concrete, but nope, just flimsy and weird. Giving it a reluctant +3 overall in case it's a shipping fluke.

At first I thought that I should slaughter this one. I do not like this exclusive sh… that is not exclusive at all. And after I had tasted it. Well I thought the same. But….. There are no ratings at all at Ratebeer….and only 350 at the yellow pages. So maybe they have managed some exclusivity after all. After I had tried this one…..I had another more typical pilsner. And it is no doubt that I would prefer the Tesla version more or less anytime before that normal plain pils version with a low bitterness. Well lets tell the story about the most expensive pils in history. It appears quite hazy yellow golden in the glass and a fine semi lasting head. The head could have lasted a bit longer. But I did not really use a proper glass either. The aroma get a top score. And that is unusual for a pils. But is this really a pilsner? It had a fine intensity with pleasant floral and herbal notes. Really nice. If they had given this beer some more bitterness. It would have lifted it a lot in my world. Felt a bitt thin (like a NEIPA). The carbonation level was quite fine. It became more like a New Berlin Pilsner. Maybe a new beer style is born? The flavor was also quite good. Floral, malty, herbal and mild citric. Absolutely a decent beer. But off coure no way good value for money. I do off course only have myself to blame….or not. It is off course my Tesla loving neighbors error and my wanna taste it all sickness. In short: Decent refreshing New Berlin Pilsner with a lovely aroma and to low bitterness to become beer to recommend. Girls on the beach will LOVE it Cheers folks
