Can shared @MBCC 2025, Green Session. Oily black, tan head. Heavy roast and coffee aroma. Sweet dark malty flavour, roast, sweet coffee, bitter finish.

A black beer with a tan head. Aroma of roasted dark malt, coffee, dark malt. Taste of roasted coffee beans, chocolate, strong dark malt.

Can, 13C. Black. A tan head barely forms. Lumbering coffee aroma with roast and plenty of brown sugar. Nothing like as sweet as threatened (a relief), but silky and very rich. Lowish carbonation. The coffee is roasty, chocolatey and a bit nutty with some spices and cracked caramel before some soft coconut emerges at the end. First it seems all about coffee then it disappears into the stout. Bitter and a little peppery at the end. Really good.
