Cali IPA is Charlie’s take on a classic West Coast India Pale Ale. The pilsner malt base is pale in colour and super crispy on the finish. Columbus, Citra and Mosaic combine to balance tropical fruit flavours with satisfying notes of resinous pine.

Can from Beer52. Cloudy gold, nice small white consistent top. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, yeast, pot pourri. Taste of melon, mango, citrus, light mineral, slightly tangy and lovely fruitiness. Medium bodied, soft to fine carbonation. Tasty IPA.

Can. Unclear pale orange with a cm of white head. 3+ Pleasant if simple aroma of citrus, bread and hints of pine. Dryish and clean with lemon and some grapefruit over plainish cracker bread before a moderately bitter finish. Lacks a bit of personality.

Rocky white head left a froth on a hazy pale amber coloured body. Sour, pith & detergent aroma.... Medium bodied, foamy & cloying. Bitter / Sweet tropical fruit tastes with vegetal & soap - this can't be right. It's drinking a bottle shower gel.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A pale straw coloured pour with a slight haze and a scant white head; light citrus aroma with some tropical fruit; fresh lemony citrus taste; and a crisp and sharp citrus finish. Very drinkable.
