Tall boy can acquired from Half Time, my main IPA provider. An Alaskan IPA? Why not, my first I believe. A tulip glass from a good Fort Worth brewery, time to have the pour. A hazy body as expected, yellow-orange in color completed by a sizeable foamy head of snow white foam. Fine lacing as it turns out. I smell orange juice, other citrus and something tropical. The taste still figures largely with oranges, also crackers, guava, bit-o-honey and a touch of hops. A nice full sensation. Really a decent imperial hazy IPA, a style that does not top my list. But you do what you do.

Can. Pours a hazy orange hue, a medium white head. A big sweet tropical nose. Sweet tropical flavors, mango, papaya, vanilla. Very smooth. Juice like.

Can. Pretty much opaque orange with a cm and a half of dense white head. Deep citrus aroma - oranges, Meyer lemon, citrus leaves, grapefruit - some peach, tropical fruit, menthol, mint. Light bread. Smooth, medium bodied. Lots of fruit but not all that sweet. Some coconut. Modest bitterness and slight astringency. Great aroma but a little strong for what it otherwise offers.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy, murky manila colored pour, soft, creamy white head. Fruity aroma, stone fruit and citrus. Taste continues to offer a blend of citrus and Nectarine/ apricot, sweetness quickly succumbing to a zesty bitterness. Creamy feel, juicy.

Can from Tavour. Pours hazy dirty grapefruit juice color with a very large foamy white head. Aroma of earth and citrus. Med plus body. Flavor is citrus, that tropical punch stuff Anchorage uses, earth and light caramel. Juicy but well towards dry. Nicely bitter. The flavor is that Anchorage thing that's not easy to describe. Wonderful flavor tho.
