From a 650ml bottle on 1/10/2023 (shared with Desmond on Grand Final night). Described as a 'Barrel Aged Wild Strong Belgian Blonde Ale on Nero d'Avola grapes'. Pours a dirty golden/light amber with virtually no head. Has a light nose of fermenting fruit and a touch of oak. Has lots of white wine to it on the sip, with fermenting white grape dominating. Finishing with a light oaky moderately tart sour. Doesn't present as 8.4% and I can't detect the slightest bit of Belgian character in it. Drinkable but ultimately a bit bland and forgettable

Bottle. Clear pale red with a white head that's soon at the rim. Aroma of strawberries and sweet cherries with some almond, light bread, oak. Sweet with fruit and peppery oak, grape skins and a suggestion of sourness. Perhaps misses a little bitterness (or more definite sourness) at the end. Good.
