This DIPA is a journey through Nelson Sauvin, a hop which we think brings oodles of complexity and breadth to any beer it's in. The base of this beer is made up of pilsner malt, oats and wheat to bring a lavish, creamy body. Nelson was used on the hot and cold side and it brings soft, waxy bitterness with a herbal, resinous fruit character bouncing with gooseberry, white grape, sweet nectarine and honeydew melon. The finish is long, smooth and refreshingly bitter with a zippy burst of lime peel at the very end.

Loose white head on a hazy golden coloured body.
White wine, gooseberry & citrus aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth with a clean back.
Orange, white wine, oats, white wine & zesty tastes.
Nice one.

Can 44 cl. Pours a cloudy, murky golden with a solid, white head. Spicy, dank Nelson hops. Solid fruity body, soft on the palate, brutally dank with spicy, herbal hops. Subdued bitterness. 090524

440ml Can - Murky golden with a foamy head. Grapefruit, grapes, pineapple and gooseberries in the aroma. Grapefruit, pineapple. lemon and some notes of bubblegum and a faint hint of herbs in the taste.

Can from Caledonian Craft Beer Merchant. Milky golden body with a white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemon sponge, rose petals and dried apricot. Flavour of gooseberries and lemon. Medium to full body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A well balanced, green IPA.
