Hazy golden colour, white foam. Nose is fruity and citrussy with some metallic notes. Sweet tripel with a harsh bitter finish. Not the most balanced tripel.

25/XII/24 - 33cl bottle from a gift pack @ my parents’ place, BB: IV/2027, P465 (2024-1306) Thanks to my parents for sharing the bottle!
Clear orange beer, big creamy solid white head, unstable, falls down quickly, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: yeasty, lots of overripe banana, bubble gum, a bit chemical, banana peel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, sugary, ripe to overripe banana, spicy, coriander, some dried orange peel, very sweet. Aftertaste: way too sweet and sugary, a bit oxidized, banana, bubble gum, orange peel, honey, meh. Very underwhelming. This is like the antipode of Orval, and I like Orval. A lot.

Good white head, leaving some lace over hazy orange golden beer, very well-carbonated. Smells rather sweet, as well as rootspices, earthy, uncut horseradish, scorza nera. Sharpish at first, then sweet, human sweat, carrots. Bit peppery finish. Very carbonated feel, slick, creamy, smooth. Thirteen-to-the-dozen, too sweet tripel. Txs to Stef!

33cl bottle from Spar Oostende in Belgium. F: big, snow-white, long lasting. C: pale gold, light hazy. A: malty, bit honey, floral, banana, pears, toast touch, spicy. T: full malty base, banana, pears, honey, red apples peels, medium carbonation, decent bitterness, ok for another member of this style here in Belgium, enjoyed.
