Schwarze Farbe mit beiger Schaumkrone. Malziger, torfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, umso mehr torfig, Karamell. Hohe Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, voller Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure.

Nach dem fassgelagerten Eisbock erscheint dieses Scotch-Ale fast schon mild. Aber man bekommt wirklich ein tiefes, schweres 🐃 Bier mit schönen holzigen 🌳Aromen und einen Torfton, den manche Whiskeys nicht so haben. Sehr koplex und schwer zu trinken, aber sehr aromatisch.

Tap at Zil verne. Quite thin body and quite high carbonation. Med-high sourness, light tartness. Lots of wood and peat smoke. Little else to go on about here. Astringent dark malts, hard to drink. Not exactly great.

Tap. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of Dark malt, coconut from barrel, whiskey. Taste is dark malt, wood, peat, coffee, sourness from dark malts, chocolate, astringency in finish.

Tap at Myslíš? Blackish body, off-white head. Creamy, sweetish aroma, raisins, soft peat. Lean, dry, tart red grape taste, quite peaty. The tartness help drinkability, I have to say. Well hidden alcohol too! Bit soapy and not my type though.
