Bottle courtesy of Marko who left this with me following a tasting back in February. Consumed at home Wednesday 30th April 2025, we had the now amazing and legendary 😍 Nidi di Tagliatelle al forno (baked pasta nests) again tonight after a hard few hours of mowing the garden. Listening to Snapped Ankles - Hard Times Furious Dancing. Pours oily black with a light tan head, the nose is dried Christmas cake fruits, so currants, raisins, sultanas and prunes that sort of thing but a little booze also. Similar in the flavour department but with a noticeable tang. Smooth mouthfeel, it's a touch tannic, a little rough around the edges but this also gives it a bit of edginess, a bit of character. There's some oakiness, wet wood, light roasty bitterness. Ok it's not polished or refined it's a little bruiser, it's not an huge throw everything at it Imperial Stout it's more simple than that but it does what it does pretty well.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & hrabren, thanks! Black coloured, small off-white head, gummibears, spices and mild barrel in the nose. Sweetish taste with notes of barrel, spices and light grape. Discreet cinnamon in the finish.

0.33 l bottle thanks to Marko who shared it with Ogi and Myself. Dark brown, small beige head. Aroma is raisins, rum punch, rum soaked raisins, dried figs, red fruit, spices. Prunes, some oak. Soft, smooth, a bit rough in the flavour, some tartness, slightly oaky, roasty, cardboard and butter. Minimal bitterness. Finishes a bit tart. Doesn't resemble s start.

2024 edition:
Bottle, huge thanks Stipe! Pitch black body, brownish-reddish head. Spices mix with sweetish red wine touches in the aroma. Extremely drinkable for 7.5%, bit lighter but enough, the red wine notes mixed with light chocolate and roasty notes, dry taste. Very enjoyable, well-balance. Where I overrated the original slightly, this one I'm enjoying thoroughly.
2022 edition:
Bottle, huge thanks to the Tap B guys. Murky dark brown body, greyish-beige head, going away fast. Lovely big red grape juice aroma mixed with some spice reminiscent of anise mostly - or a combo that evokes that, creamy, lightly tart. Sweetish light taste, the red wine barrel showing up in force, moving towards some cinnamon, herbal-spicy notes, some alcohol, vague vague tartness. Pleasant, well balanced. I like it, but I see why the others don't. Most of the base beer was lost. 6/8/7/8/7.5
