Wiethaler Neunhofer Pils, Flasche von Getränkefeinkost, Berlin. - Goldgelb, klar. (14.8.2020.)

Caramelly barnyard aroma and flavor. Salad dressing, yoghurt. Somewhat dirty and very unpilsener-like.

50 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 30.09.2017
Aroma has quite nothing with perhaps some grain and hops. Also hay. Flavour has grain, slightly sweet malt, some grassy hops and minerals. Finishes with strong-ish grassy hops. Somewhat refreshing.

On tap @FrankenFest 2016 (Rome), Villa Torlonia. Dorata pallida, limpida, schiuma abbondante e persistente. Corpo leggero, carbonazione media. Un po’ sciapa, ma buona.

At the Franken fest 2016 in Rome-Italy. Clear dark yellow pour, incredible white head with retention. Nose: weed, fresh green grass harvest. Mouth: medium carbonation, bitter grassy finish.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and loose foamy head. Mildly grainy and slightly doughy malty aroma with notes of flowery and delicately spicy hops. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry pale malt character with chalky and slightly doughy notes; hops tune in quite early with herbal and slightly grassy accents; dry and moderately bitter finish with a restrained malty backbone. A bit harsh. 24.VI.14

Bottle(Euro2): Greenish-golden, not completely clear, small and quickly vanishing loose white head; grainy-malty nose, some traces of herbal-floral hops underneath; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; a bit more "hoppier", but not really aromatic, in the crunchy-grainy finish. Not really a Pils, but a spicy Helles…
