Bottled 500ml. -from Bier Imperium, Vienna. Yellow coloured, medium sized white head, mild grainy nose. Sweetish malty, light grainy and slight herbal with rather bitter finish. Also quite oily. Average and boring helles.

Bottle like the one on the pic if I remember correctly, courtesy of ogivlado who found it in Austria and shared it with me. Poured a lemony yellow body with a small white head. Eggy sweetish light nose with notes of propolis. Cornflakes-like grainy taste going oily. Carbonation bite is noticable. Boring. 4/2/5/2/9Rerate: Fruitier, maltier nose now, herbal, sweetish malty/grainy taste. Felt it was balanced. 5/2-3/6/3/11

Bottle 50 cl. Comes as "Jacob Altbayerisch Hell". Slightly hazy greyish yellow with a white head. Some malt and a little sulphur in the nose. Medium body, clean maltiness with a dry and lightly sulphurous finish. 270509

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, straw, moderate hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090620]
