0,5l bottle @ Gasthof Buchberger near Nittendorf, Germany. Head is medium, white, good retention. Aroma is malty, bready, bit caramel, hay touch. Taste is medium malty base, bready, light hoppy, bit caramel, floral, decent bitterness, soft to medium carbonation, good for the style, enjoyed.

Jacob Altbayerisch Hell, Flasche von Grabsch, Berlin-Lichterfelde. - Goldgelb, blank; kurzlebiger Schaum. (11.11.2023.)

Bottle shared on the train during the Bamberg Post Christmas Jolly - January 2014. Pours clear pale yellow with a light, frothy white topping. Decent beer, some crisp cereal, sugary dough, mild floral notes. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, more cereal, straw, dough. Drinkable enough.

Bottle online from Raynville Superstore. Pours a clear light golden/straw colour with a large thick foamy white head. Nice aromas of sweet grains, hay and doughy white bread. Taste has more grains, hay and bread with some peppery spice on the finish. Very malty beer with no bitterness. Thin to medium body, fairly low carbonation and smooth oily mouthfeel. nice sessionable beer and a good example of the style. Above average Helles.

Tap. Clear pale golden color with white head. Aroma is mild grassiness, a touch sulphur, cereals. Taste is the same, a bit grassy, sulphur, cereals again. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Nothing special, just decent quality.

Typical, good, clean showcase of pilsner malt. Crisp, perhaps more american lager-like. Sommel dresden
