Bottle shared at Zozo's. Pours black with an off-white head. Nose is booze, caramel, bourbon notes and harsh bitterness, touches dark malts. Taste is booze and caramel, light molasses, some vanilla, that harsh bitterness again, and a weird, glue-like character that appears here and there just so it fades back out again. Closes with a long lasting, bittersweet finish, has a medium to full body and soft carbo. Too bitter all in all and that glue character doesnt help either.

1/6/2024. Bottle at Prague GP beer share. From Blackout Brewing. Pours very dark brown with a small frothy beige head. Aroma is bourbon, woody, malts, chocolate, toffee, dried fruit, vanilla. Quite sweet with light to moderate bitterness. Good body, oily, soft carbonation. Some booziness to finish. Very nice.

Tap at Pozoj Fest Zagreb. Romanian, eh? Chestnut dark brown body, off-white head. Light dry fig and coconutty-barelly, mostly malty aroma. Coconut barrel notes in the taste, solid malty presence, but excessive alcohol overwhelms it in the end, oh well.

On tap at Pozoj Fest Zagreb. Dark amber/brownish head, small off-white head, dried fruits and alcohol in the nose. Dried fruits, alcohol, brown sugar, raisins and caramel with touch of bourbon in the finish. Sweet and alcoholic.

Pozoj. Unclear brown, minimal head. Toasty and fruity with a chilli pepper and orange aroma. Plum skins, dark fruit jam. Red wine, a tannic note. Smooth, strong, sweet. Dried fruit. Low oak notes. Slick anyway. Strong. Warming. Full body, moderate finish.

21st May 2022 A light haze on this dark amber brown beer, small tan head. Nose of ripe fruity bourbon and a touch of dank wood. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. The malts, such as they are, bring a trace of creamy sweetness and an even lighter touch of toffee. The main feature here, front, centre and every other angle available - bourbon! Spicy ripe fruit bourbon, a little dank wood and a little barrel induced vanilla. Some fruit liqueur vibes on the alcohol spicy finish. Intense. Good fun.
