In late summer 2021, we made a macerated wine from grape varieties as Muscat Ottonel, Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer. After primary fermentation, we added the wine to a barrel of beer we brewed 9 months earlier. Just before bottling the beer underwent a short maceration with some Moro bloodoranges.

Pours orange, medium foam dissapears fast and completelt. Scent is brett, mild oak, some fine cirussy notes (the white between the actual fruit and the peel, specifically) bit petrol like (from the Pinot gris, I'm sure) . taste is sharp, dry, acidic, fairly bitter, some tannins even, very mild, hidden even citrus, way less present than the aroma. Grapes are fairly silent as well, but do provide an earthy, spicy backbone, bit floral. Weirldy enough, the most silent in the nose (muscat and gewurtz) are the most outspoken in the mouth, and vise versa. high but very fine carbonation. Typical Antidoot beer,a dn if you know Antidoot, you know what that means !

0,75l bottle at home. Bottled 03/22. yellow hazy color, small white head. smells grapey, bitter oranges, stone fruits, very bright smell. lovely lovely smell full body, soft carbonation. tastes bitter oranges, grapes, subtle tannins, stone fruits, light tobacco, parfumy. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of bitter oranges, grapes and tannins. very very nice one, the balance is just great. super smooth.
