Bottle @ Willems Grobbendonk, Belgium. Pours dark ruby brown with a white head. Dark dried fruit, caramel and liquorice. Full bodied. Smooth and creamy texture.

33cl bottle @ home shared with Thompson. Deep dark red color, medium sized beige head that leaves decent lacing. Smell malts, lightly sweet. Taste malts, lightly sweet, lightly caramel. Medium carbo, low to medium body.

Bottled (from BelgianShop). Ambery brown colour with mediumsized beigeish brown head, leaves some lave. Aroma is caramel malts, raisins, some dark dry fruits as well as mild spices and yeast. Flavour is caramel malts, some dark dry fruits, mild raisins as well as spices and yeast.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter fruity flavor. Week nice chocolate notes. Long great finish. Oily palate. More BSA than trippel.

33 cL bottle. Pours dark orange to brown, hazy, with a creamy off-white head. Mild yeast fruity aroma. Light caramel flavour in the first flavour impression, followed by a mild sweetness and then a mellow yeasty fruity and mellow flavour before the finish. Smooth and nice. Light yeasty and caramel sweet finish with a mild spice note in the far finish. Smooth and creamy lasting mouthfeel.

Bottle. Clear medium brown color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, light hoppy, moderate to light heavy yeasty, anis. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (060408)

Pours deep clear amber into a Trappist glass. Tan head quickly subsides to skim surface. Caramel, date and fig aromas. Upfront juicy fruit and bubbly. Lasting dry fruit finish.
