Bottle. Ruby brown beer with a light beige/brown head. Caramel, slight roast aroma with some spice and dried fruit. Malty, earthy yeast with alcohol, caramel and dried fruit flavor. Body is thinner than expected. Alcohol present. The first few sips disapointed after the aroma, but after a bit it’s not that bad - but still needs somethng more (and less alchol presence).

750ml bottle. Dark reddish body with a beige head. Very sweet aroma with notes of yeast and alcohol. Flavor is sweet malt, candy sugar and alcohol, maybe a hint of dry fruit. Just a bit one dimensional sweet for my taste.

Bottle: Poures a dark brown/black with a thin light brown head. Sweet roasty malt that opens the nose up. The taste was very sweet and tasty malt, almost candy like. Finish was okay.

Bottled. Clear amber. Neutral aroma. Sweet with clean mouithfeel, notes of yeast and a dryish finish. Incredibly neutral for a Belgian ale, what did they do with all flavours?

(Bottle 75 cl) Reddish amber, presumably clear and filtered. Nice, beige head which collapses rather quickly. Fusty smell and lots of yeast. Slight vinous touch. Also yeasty flavours and some earthy notes. Roasted malt, some caramel and some candi sugar - not excessively sweet though. But the carbonation is a bit too much. A dark Tripel? That’s rather unusual. 160705

Bottled (BB 10/2006)
Dark ruby color with big tanned creamy head, lace. Roasted, woody aroma. Medium to full body. Sweet fruity (plums) flavor with roasted malts and molasses. Alcoholic touch in the liquerish palate. Currently underrated here (average 2.91)!

Dull chestnut colour with small head. There's some caramel, but no malt depth; light fruity touch; very light tobacco and cacao, and besides that no other signs of oxidation. Decent.

Amber color; poor head retention. Malty, good Strong Belgian Ale; maybe a bit thin and overaged.
