Bottle shared with ClubGonzo. The beer has a slightly hazy straw-colored appearance with a head that resembles whipped egg white. The aroma is tart with a touch of citrus and bitter berries. In the flavor, the berries are more of a place between bitter and sweet, not far from red currants. There are also traces of natural oak flavor in the beer, and has a fairly light bitterness. In the mouth the beer feels quite rich and somewhat slick. A really tasty beer with a great balance between the flavors.

12/08/2011 Alchimia Retail Shop (750ml bottle). Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. Gran bella birra acida, complessa, originale.

Bomber. Batch 786; bottled 8-5-2011. Pours hazy gold with a medium white head that collapses into a blanket after a couple of minutes, leaving lace. Aroma is oaky, dusty, bready. Taste starts out lightly sweet for a second then quickly turns sour before ending dry and bitter. Highly carbonated with a medium to full body. Interesting. Goes great with cacciatore.

75cl bottle, shared @Pikkulintu 24.7.2011. Poured golden in color with a white head. Yeasty, barnyard sour aroma. Flavor is apples, yeast and hops, sweetsour. Finish is dry and fruity. Weird but still very enjoyable.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a slight hazy gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces nicely. Aroma has Belgian yeast with floral notes and a hint of citrus. A bit of tartness as well. Flavor starts with floral and fruit notes but has a nice tart finish to round out the beer and a nice yeast note.

750ml bottle from Bierkompass

Batch 663, bottled 1-7-2011 - Pours orange with a small head. Aroma has hints of earthy sourness, grass and herbs. Sour taste reminds me of gueuze and has hints of oaky woodness, spices and yeast. Smooth, dry and refreshing finish. Nice one.

Location: Draft at RnH, 2/19/11

Aroma: The nose has some spice, sour notes, citrus, honey, and some yeast
Appearance: This one pours a hazy yellow-orange color with a decent white head
Flavor: The taste is moderately sweet, balanced by some sourness, fruit, yeast
Palate: The body is medium, somewhat sticky, with a tingly, lasting feel on the mouth
Overall Impression: Overall, I thought this was a decent beer. It has a decent flavor, leaning toward the sweet side, but with some sourness as well. Not bad, but not particularly memorable.
