YG 100923. Red orange color with a pinkish hue. Flavor is apples, sourness, red current, cherries. Flavor is apples, sourness, red current, cherries, yeast, grass. OK cider.

750 ml corked & caged bottle, batch #2020-01, from the cidery. ABV is 9%. Rosé colour, pours sparkling with a large to moderate white head. Aroma of crushed apples, morellos and redcurrants. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, some fruity acidity, hints of tannins and sulphites. Pleasant to drink.

Pink, clear, no head. Aromatic, apple and red fruits. Taste is a bit sweet, but complex and fruity. A very nice blend.

Dag 2 på M&H, og min første cider: roséfarget med lett perlende munnfølelse. Farlig slank, så her går det unna. Moreller og rips var slett ingen dum idé. Fra flaske.

Bottle, 75cl corked. It pours sparkling clear golden body with a pink hue. White bubbles around the rim. The aroma has a faint touch of cherry, no pits though, with fresh apples dominating. Some grass, apple cores and alcohol too. It's softly carbonated on the palate, lightly warming, full-bodied and with a suiting fruity sourness. The redcurrant show up in the flavor, as a hint only, with the cherries pushed even further to the back. Some marzipan cherry pit hints too. Mostly though, it's fresh apples and apple cores. Grass, hints of hay and a bit too much alcohol chime in. Dry, sour finish with alcohol warmth and apple flavors, along with a touch of red berries. A nice one indeed, the berries add a pleasant twist to the cider, but the alcohol level combined with the carbonation makes it feel a bit rough on the edges. Should work just fine as an aperitif I guess. 211006

Small bubbly mediumlasting head, clear light reddish color. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, apple cores, grass, apple peel, hay, sour apples, hints of yellow apples and red berries. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish fruity, sour apples, sorrel, apple cores, hay, minerals, alcohol, apple peel, hints of sour red berries. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Nice.
