Black with thin head. Intense aroma with dry woody notes. Flavour starts sweet with brown sugar. Boozy and sweet. Almost Bourbon like.

On tap at Ebenezers, Nantwich. Pours black, black, BLACK ! Has a strong foamy beige head as well. Aroma is distinctly vanilla and roasted malts. In the mouth it has plenty of cocoa, vanilla and liquorice with hints of treacle. Later one some nuts, spices and pepper make their appearance. Finish is alcoholic strength and a warm glow. This is gorgeous !

330ml can online from Cloudwater. Pours jet black with a tan cap. Rich & unctuous. Liquorice, molasses, leather, cacao, brown sugar, pecans. Full body with tight carbonation. This was delicious
