Timothy’s American Collection would not be complete without a tribute to an American rock and folk music legend, Bruce Springsteen.

True to its namesake, The Boss is a classic IPA which traces its roots back to the East Coast of the US. The balance is clearly hop forward, with aroma and flavor notes of citrus, floral, and pine supported by malts which allow our selection of New World (American) hops to shine forth.

So, take a sip of The Boss, and before long you will be singing "Born in the USA, I was born in the USA" while feeling like you are walking "on the streets of Philadelphia"!

Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso il luppolo. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine, con qualche bollicina grande. Il liquido è di aspetto nuvoloso. Il colore è ambrato carico tendente rossiccio. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è intenso. La forza gustativa è molto elevata e la durata è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, resina, agrumi, pompelmo, ananas e arancia amara.

29/XII/24 - on tap @ Timothy’s Le Brasseur du Pape (Colmar), BB: n/a (2024-1348)

Clear copper orange beer, creamy dense yellow to light beige head, a little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: malty, a little floral, hay, pretty faint smell... MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: a bit sourish, sweet malts, grains, slightly fruity. Aftertaste: bitter, a bit floral, sourish touch, a bit piny, not very good.

Copper colour. No gas. No head. Stale alpha acid hop aromas. Not a beer, more like juiced hops and water. Overly bitter.
