Bottle on a very nice evening at proeflokaal De Schans 06 dec 2019. Color: Hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Stone fruit, malty. Taste: Stone fruit, yeasty and some spicy notes. Moderate sweet and bitter. Not as sweet as a lot other Tripels, fortunately. Quite nice complexity for a Tripel. Nice one.

Aroma has malt, pepper and a hint of cherry. The flavor has a peppery hopbitterness, but is also abundant with fruit (peach and cherry) Fairly alcoholic and a bit sharp, but a well made tripel. A worthy example of the style.

Bottle from Bier Koning. Hazy amber beer. Good cream colured head. Smooth palate. Sweetish malt, smooth. A tiny pinch of spice. Nice fresh orange hop with a little pineapple as well. Creamy dry finish with another pinch of spice and some hop bitterness. Interesting tripel, more hoppy than most!
