Disparate cream-coloured head over jet-black beer. Ashes, tobacco, molasses, roast, meatroast, charcoal. Typical stout-acidity, bit rubbery (gymps). Sweet roast, dark chocolate. Chewy, viscous, full bodied but good carbonation. Alcoholheat. A good barrel aged sweet stout, complex and subtle enough. Txs to Stef!

Bottle. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Coffee, roasted malt, fruity Sherry. Taste: Smooth mouthfeel. Coffee, some licorice, roasted malt en umami, accompanied by fruity PX Sherry notes and some oak wood. Earthy. Dry-ish finish. Over medium body (bit thin for this style), just below average carbonation. Another nice BA beer from Van Moll.

Black with lasting creamy head. Aroma and flavour have sweet dried fruits. Jammy. Pater the roasted malt bitterness kicks in. Silky texture. Warming.

Dark brown with a creamy, beige head. Aroma biscotti and milk chocolate. Slight vinous note. Taste moderate bitter with a mild tang at the finish, which is a bit sweet and nutty but too empty for a beer of this class. Medium-bodied, moderate to mild carbonation. Not bad.
