Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Slightly hazy deep golden colour, small off-white fluffy head. Aroma is wheat, yeast, mild dough as well as some toffeeish notes. Flavour is fruits, wheat, some yeast and mild toffeeish notes. Rather refreshing citrusy and mild herbal in the finish. Gets some quite smoky notes as it warms up as well.

Hazy yellow color, big cloudy white head. Aroma has bubblegum, bread, wood, wet paper. Light to medium-bodied. Crisp. Leafy-earthy wheat flavor, some light banana. Dryish finish. Tastes like a kristallweizen.

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dry estery and wheaty. Dry wheaty, banana fruity and estery. Dry finish.

Bottle, 5.1%. Weak wheat beer aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is quite dry. Lagery and a bit thin.

Bottle 50cl. w. swing top @ home.Cloudy hazy sparling a medium grey orange color with a average to large, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, moderate yeasty, fruity, banana notes, light to moderate smoke - rubber - ashtray. (BBF 071009) Flavor is moderate sweet and smoke - rubber - ashtray with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is flat. [20090824]

Bottled. An unclear orange beer with a huge ligth orange head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with a light touch of banana. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of banana, but also with wheaty notes, leading to a dry wehaty finish. A bit too strong banana note for my liking.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Cloudy, deep golden coloured, creamy and very firm foam; mainly cloves and bananas in the nose; moderate sweetish-sourish, and just slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; wheat and citrus-fruity in the tart finish. Rather unbalanced Weizen, hardly refreshing..........

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, orange colour with a fluffy, almost white foamy head. Yeasty, moderately sweet wheat-malty aroma with notes of banana and citrus and soft clovy phenols. Sweet flavour with a light fruity sourness, light to medium bodied with a lively, almost fizzy carbonation, even for a Hefeweizen. Good wheat-character with a mostly citrousy fruitiness and restrained notes of banana; light-sweet and moderately sour fruity and wheaty finish with only a light clovy touch, which I really appreciate. Surely not a perfect, but still a decent and refreshing Hefeweizen.

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy, orangey golden with a small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma of yeast and phenol. Medium-bodied with a fairly high carbonation and some tart, citric notes. Very dry finish. 131106
