0.5l bottle, thx Ryan I reckon for sharing it with Fil and me! Shiny coppery body, off-white hrad. Caramelly, bit nutty sweet aroma, okay enough. Caramelly, lightly leathery lean and drinkable taste. Okay dunkel!

500ml Bottle - From 2021. Dark copper in colour. Chestnuts, hazelnuts and chocolate in the aroma, slightly dusty. Aniseed, roasted nuts, liquorice fudge and raisins can all be detected in the taste. An interesting and rather quirky dunkel.

Das Dunkel der Brauerei Roppelt, Trossenfurt, Flasche vom Landbierparadies24. - Dunkles Kupfergoldbraun, klar; fast schaumlos. (1.5.2021.)

Dark brown color. Malty milk chocolate aroma. Somewhat roasty cacao flavor. Just a bit of brown sugar. Sweet and malty. Hint of raisin. Likeable beer.

@ The brewery. Hazy mahogany with a large off white head. Aroma had caramel and roasted malt. Flavor was quite roasted and dry with some chewy malts. Finished dry and roasted.

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass brownish, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Light metallically notes. Hoppy notes are a bit boring. Could be more roasty. Finish also a bit flat. Okay.
