Deep golden color. Honey and some mandarin in the aroma. Sweetish honeyish flavor with mandarin and some hops. Thin, and therefor more alcoholic as the ABV might suggest. Fruity aftertaste at first, followed by some hopbitterness.

Typical Belgian top-fermented thirst quencher aimed at tourism in Brugues and replacing the old Brugs Blond from Gouden Boom. A blonde ale with a mild fruitiness, sweetish with a hint of bourbon, finishing mildly herbally hoppy. Serves its purpose well, better than many of its congeners.

Pretty old bottle - bb 2008. Pours gold, head is just a cream coat. Honey and spice nose - cinnamon, cloves, galangal, coriander. Almost flat with hints it wasn’t once. Taste is orange sweet with some cheesy yeast and (nice) stale hops. The tiny hints of better beers (Chimay white, Orval, Duval) are just enough to be slightly annoying.

Thick luscious head settles to 1cm, earthy toffee kind of hazy amber. Nice lacing though.Aroma is of honey, raisins, wheat, funky/musty old hops (similar to a gueuze), hints of alcohol, cinnamon, and a hint of red wine.Taste is "wow" - reminds me of lindemans gueze, but with added coriander. Again, honey, cinnamon. Alcohol is highly noticeable. Hint of extract twang Bit of orange sherbert. Very watery finish with no bitter backing.Creamy carbonation, but feels watery on palate.

Draught. Cloudy yellow with little head. Tangy lemony aroma. Medium body with light carbonation. Refreshing tangy lemony flavour with some interesting banana and maybe malt notes. Overall refreshing.
