Veldig lys gylden. Middels høyt kremaktig skum. Grei maltaroma. Smaken smørmalt. I søtligste laget.

0,5 l bottle. Mid golden, more than one finger white head. Smells grassy. Taste has some malt, some grain, spicy. Not a lot but okay. High carbonated. Mid bitterness. Cheap beer with an acceptable quality.

Sampled from 0.5 l can from local ’trinkgut’ as ’Ratskrone Premium Pilsener’ at 4.9% abv, best before February 2018. Clear, pale golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grainy and a little grassy-fruity aroma of grains, straw and some hints of citrus. Slightly sweetish, a little bitter, minimally fruity-grassy taste of straw, some grains and a touch of citrus, followed by a short, moderately bitter, dry and slightly grassy finish with a touch of cardboard. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Actually not bad, beats most of the other cheap Pilseners by far!

The beer starts malty and grainy. Fresh but slightly metallic. Grainy with a moderate sweetish body and a neutral bitterness. Sessionable and still ok.

ok, so this is a real penner-pils (costs 25-30 cts / 0.5l can). pours a clear golden with a big white head and some lacing. malty bready aroma and flavour. astringent metallic taste, but not too much bitterness. a bit harsh, but not too bad when ice cold, considering the price.
