Thanks for the share T.J?? Right from the can all I could smell was sugar. When it was poured into a chalice, I got alcohol and sugar. Yikes!! The flavor is overwhelming sugar and alcohol. I hope the Brewer rethinks this brew. The yeast had plenty of sugar to make this abundance of alcohol. This is a total drain pour, gosh.... Awful.

Thoroughly hazy, turbid, brass-copper. Off-white head immediately recedes to ring.
Initial aromatics are quite garlic-dominated. This seems to stick with it over the course of the beer, but is joined by light alcohol, caramel, dough and rich honey that definitely leave me wanting a lot more hop character. Pretty soon it’s just caramel and bread with an afterthought of garlic/scallion and grapefruit. Surprisingly light on the alcohol for 12%, though.
Yikes. First sip immediately yields why. Syrup, heavy sugar, very underattenuated and though the carbonation, while low, is fairly engaging, it stands no chance against this massive sugar assault. Mild to moderate, vague bitterness in the background, with some spicy pine and grapefruit that is quickly drowned out by the honey, caramel and cotton candy sweetness. Coconut, bubble gum and light alcohol esters litter the finish with more sugar lingering, as well as light garlicy hop. Pretty wretched, syrupy, messy stuff. Why in the hell is this 12%??? It adds absolutely nothing. Couldn’t manage more than a few sips, and those just for rating purposes.
