After visiting the world's largest pig museum, need something cold and rich

Dunkler, eher dumpfer Antrunk, mild malzig, fast keine Hefenoten. Geringe Karbonisierung, im Mittelteil wässrig werdend, minimal herb. Langweilig. 9/7/7/6/9/7

Pours brown from the bottle and leaves a tall, frothy head. Aroma is yeasty with hints of apple and nail polish. Taste is lightly sweet with some tartness. Body is a bit light for the style, and I am not picking up the roasted notes I would usually expect. Refreshing. Nothing terrible here, but not worth repeating either.

Hazy deep amber to brown colored, strong beige head, good lacing, lasting. Aroma is malty, caramel, toasty, yeast, banana and spices. Taste is moderate sweet caramel, toffee, banana bread, toasted bread, cloves and other spices. Body is low to medium, moderate- carbonation. It’s an OK dunkelweizen but something in the flavor is a bit off from the standard Dunkel notes.

bottle. Cloudy brown colour, large beige head. Wheaty yeasty and chocolatey, not overly carbonated, quite pleasant to drink.

Bottle 50 cl. Aroma: banana, clove, yeast and caramel. Taste: malt sweetness, caramel, fruity, sour weizen yeast, banana.

Turbia, cobriza. Espuma crema, densa. Aroma ligeramente a plátano y especiada. Carácter de pimienta también en la boca, que tapa cualidades habituales del estilo (más malteadas) Baja amargura y alta carbonatación. Dunkel extraña, aunque se bebe.

Bottle at Carls Brauhaus Stuttgart, 08/02/15. Lightly hazed deep chestnut brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is toffee, yeast, vanilla, banana, nutty tones. Taste comprises banana, toffee, brown bread, spice, biscuit, vanilla. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Ok D-Weizen.
