Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes braunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, würzig, fruchtig. Geschmack hefig fruchtig, würzig, Röstmalz.

Enjoyed at a misc bar in Heilbronn, DE while dining with co-workers. Overall I wasn’t too impressed with this one, tasted kind of syrupy and light. There are definitely better dunkels in the region.

Bottle at The Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours a slightly cloudy mid brown colour, with an average off white head. Wheat, caramel and malt aroma. Somewhat thin, soft carbonation.

Draft at the source. Cloudy variegated maroon brown color, thick tan head. Aroma of clove, bananas, caramel. Taste is tropical bubblegum. Sweet and a bit thin.

50cl bottle at La casa de la Cerveza. Hazy brown colour with an off-white and good lasting head; good lacing also. Aroma has slightly citrus notes with hints of yeast. Flavour is slightly sweet, with hints of dry fruits. The final is dry and a little watery. Carbonation and body is medium.

Bottle from Venerables. Hazy brown colour, off-white head. Nose is toasted malts, caramel, bit of fruits. Flavour is light toasted malts, bit grainy and caramel. Medium carbonation and light bodied. Slightly bitter finish.
